Why ‘Stranger Things 2’ Is Mind Poison
I regret watching Stranger Things 2.
For the ladies, it's girl power everywhere you look, unless you’re a housewife not named Joyce. In that case, you’re sentenced to being woefully out of the loop and ditzy for being trad. Males in the show are depicted as aloof, actual cucks, soy boys, and/or ultra alpha racist, sexist jerks.
Sheriff Hopper, the same actor who announced to the world while accepting a Golden Globe that he'd gladly punch "Nazis" (read: anyone who voted for Donald Trump), has a bizarre relationship with Eleven/Jane. He keeps her holed up in a remote cabin and violently argues with her, less like a parent would, more like he's quarreling with a side girl. Some of those glances linger a little too long. Some of his lines are delivered in a non-custodial tone. Must be one of those stranger things.
Then there's the private investigator Murray Bauman hired by dead Barb's parents. Bauman lives in a musty warehouse, clad in a stained wife beater and robe (not a wardrobe choice that has aged well) for his creepiest scenes where he's egging on thot Nancy and soy boy Jonathan to get it on at his place, all while liberally plying these underage kids with vodka. Seeing a pattern here yet?
Nancy and Steve never really break things off, though they are clearly on the rocks. However, you'd think Steve would be pissed about his girl getting comfy with Jonathan. But, he's cool with getting royally cucked. Thots and polyamours rejoice! Season 2 Steve Harrington’s soy levels are too high.
Lucas and Dustin fight over new girl Maxine. Of course she's a white tomboy who goes by Max and has the personality of a guy. Naturally, in our anti-white environment, Lucas has no black girls his age around to date. I looked around for extras. I saw some other black boys, but the only black girl on the show was Lucas's younger sister. Why do black women always get ignored in these situations? Why is it that billboards, tv shows, movies, magazines mostly show black or brown men with white women? Hmmmmm...
On top of all of this and in light of the recent flood of alleged sex crimes we're all reading about in Hollywood, I couldn't help but think how screwed up these child actors will be later in life. How many child actors who made their mark on a hit show reach adulthood mentally intact? Why haven't we outlawed this child labor? Why does our culture sexualize kids?
The seventh episode was pure Antifa porn. Unrealistically leading a pack of violent outcasts, this is where we get to know Kali, a short Indian girl sporting purple-dyed hair paired with the ever popular side shave adored by all the militant, empowered Antifa/Women's March cat ladies out there. In addition to murdering people who deserve it without hesitation, she robs a white gas station attendant, insisting that he shouldn't worry because she's REALLY stealing from “the billionaire war criminals.” With the show set in 1984, to what war is Kali referring? Would that be the Cold War? I don't recall the United States being engaged in a conflict with anyone other than the Soviet Union at that time. Oh...
The only worthwhile thing about this poor excuse of a sophomore season is the music, both original score and licensed tracks, improved markedly over the first season. They even copped a track from John Carpenter’s classic Escape From New York.
Yup. Stranger Things 2 is mind poison. I didn't even dig that deep into its unsatisfying plot, the plot that mindlessly teased the same giant octo-monster from season 1 without any season 2 payoff.
